$200                             $300                                   $400

When the licensed termite inspector is sent to your property to conduct the official state certified inspection, the report may show that the property has subterranean termite infestation or conditions likely to lead to such an infestation. In these cases, a subterranean "Clean-Out and Spray" will be required. The cellulose debris in the sub-area will be removed and a chemical barrier applied in the form of a spray and any mud tubes remaining will also be removed during this process.
A Note About Drywood Termite Treatments
Sometimes, the inspector will find that the infestation is minor or has just started and can be eradicated with a Drywood Termite treatment. These treatments are done in a variety of ways. Lifetime normally administers a foam to wall voids, also called a Foam Job. We can also use aersol applications to assist in administering applications in difficult to reach areas which have no voids, such as galleries inside of eaves and fascia boards.

Beware, however, for so-called "Treat" companies who often push treats on folks just to make a sale. Treatments are usually secondary reccommendations and are not guaranteed. Treats do not always work, most times, only total tent fumigation will solve the problem. Do not buy into fast-talking sales pitches which give little regard to the consumer and often result in a band-aid on a broken leg scenario, they just don't help.

We identify pests and the damages they cause

Lifetime exterminators eradicate all forms of pests from rats to rodents to roaches. We do, however, specialize in termite control. Termites are known as "The Enemy Within." They cause more damage than fires, storms, and earthquakes combined. You may never see the enemy within ... until it's too late.
Drywod Termite infestations extending into windowsill.

Although you may not see Drywood Termites, certain signs will still reveal their presence. For example, one sure sign is the discarded wings of swarmers. You may find these wings on window sills, in the attic, or any place where there's an opening in the wood. It's best to start fighting before the battle is over. No one can track the enemy better than a professional pest control operator. An inspection by one of these thoroughly-trained professionals is the most intelligent strategy you can use against "The Enemy Within".

Photo of Drywood Termites in base of a post.

By the time evidence of this infested post is spilling out onto the ground, it is far too late. The termites have been destroying the post from the inside out and now all of the damaged wood must be removed and replaced with new wood in order to protect the integrity of the structure.

    Timbers damaged by Subterranean Termites.

This type of termite is a little different in appearance than drywood termites and actually do less damage; however, they do enough damage that it is necessary to apply a chemical barrier to control the infestation. Subterranean Termites get into a house from the soil and do so very easily. All they need is an opening 1/64th" wide. They may enter directly from the soil or they may build airtight tubes leading from their colony in the soil to the wood of your house. They usually commute daily between the wood and their colony.

Timbers damaged by Subterranean Termite infestitations.

Unlike Drywood Termites, Subterranean Termites tend to follow the grain as they consume the wood. A professional termite inspector can tell the difference between the damages. This is often the case as you may not actually see the termites, but instead may view the evidence on wood members.

    Signs of Drywood Termite pellots

These pictures show Drywood Termite pellets --- a common sign of infestation. These pellets may vary in color, depending on the type of wood they are eating as well as the age of the pellets. If the pellets are darker in color, this usually indicates that the pellets are old, but you would need a termite inspector to verify this.

More signs of Drywood Termite pellets.

If our pest control operator's inspection reveals a drywood termite or other wood destroying pest such as a powder-post beetle infestation in your home or property, only one option has been scientifically proven to provide complete control and that is "total fumigation". A wood-penetration gas is the only sure way to kill all "The Enemies Within." This safe, thorough procedure has been performed effectively for decades on homes, schools, museums, churches, and other buildings.

    Example of Dampwood Termite damage.

Whether you have termites or other wood-destroying insects, a licensed professional will release the required amount of fumigant into your building. This fumigant penetrates the wood and destroys the existing infestation. Once completed, you will re-enter your building knowing that the battle against wood-destroying insects is finally over... and you have won!

ESCROW REPAIR - DRY ROT (AFTER)

The image above depicts the result, after ripping out the drywall and replacing it. Lifetime does partial home inspections by checking beams, foundation, support posts, plumbing underneath, and the roof.

    ATTICS

Look familiar? This is a picture of an attic. Attics come in all shapes and sizes and their timbers need to be protected just like the rest of your home. Lifetime often coats the wood in the attic with state approved termiticides which deter termite infestation and kill any which may be existing at the time of treatment.

    DAMAGED EAVES

Damaged eaves are a common sign that drywood termites have infested your structure.

My co-worker highly recommended Lifetime to redo my kitchen and laundry. After showing Mr. Jackson magazine pictures, they recreated what I wanted for a very fair price. I'm amazed with the final product because it looks better than what I had imagined. The construction, carpentry, and tile work are top notch! The workers were friendly, professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and skilled. I give Mr. Jackson and his crew a double thumbs up because I'm super pleased with my outcome. Alicia Washington
